We are preparing our final talk for Spring 2023.
The meeting will take place on the 10th of May at 8pm in the Lackagh Parish Centre. The meeting will be in-person and through Zoom. Zoom details will be circulated closer to the event.
The subject of this month’s talk is “Killure-Kilgerrill: Its People & Places”. Professor Stephen Gerard Jennings will make the presentation.
The talk will contain an outline of the six main chapters in the book as well as sources and endnotes used. the book’s focus is on the family history and genealogy of people in the Civil Parish of Killure-Fohenagh-Kilgerrill with its fourteen townlands, as well as neighbouring townlands in East Galway.
