Our May meeting took place on Wednesday May 14th in Lackagh Parish Centre at 8:15pm. Gerard Naughton and Paul Greaney facilitated a family history tutorial and discussion.
Topics for discussion on the night, with internet access available, included online records, search techniques for census and other records, finding records on relevant websites such as FamilySearch, Ancestry, Findmypast, and the Irish Newspaper Archive, and recording your family details on paper/chart/family tree software. A special welcome was extended to those who have questions on family history research.

The library opened for members who wished to borrow and/or return books or CDs from 7.45pm on the evening.
